Suriname
is located on the continent of South America and is geographically a part of the Caribbean. It covers an area of 163.000 sqaure kilometres.
An estimated nearly 80% of the country consists of several types of hard rocks mostly granites.

N.V. Graniet
was established in 1986. Office and processing plant are located in Paramaribo, the capital of Suriname at 17 Duisburglaan along the Saramaccacanal.
Together with its yard, it take up 3.706 acres. The plant is furnished entirely with italian technology with a production capacity of 145.000 m2/yr.

The Company
has its own quarries and concessions, mostly in the western part of the country.
Transportation of raw material is done by the companies barge.

Finished products
are standard tiles, large size slabs, cut to size polished and unpolished slabs, counter- and tabletops, tombstones and several other special jobs.
